The Adventure Club is a series of workshops for kids of all ages with the aim of teaching English and History in an exciting, playful and creative way. Learning by doing, participant observation and curiosity are the key to develop the student’s self esteem, get to know their own strengths and find their place in an ever complicated world.
It’s a program developed and refined over many years while teaching kids in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Art projects, crafts with all kind of materials, music and excursions are all part of a scheme that intents to teach values and knowledge of important things often marginalized in today’s society.
“Frank was notable for his originality and interactive teaching style. He took the initiative to create activities that were both fun and inspirational while at the same time educative.”
“Because the story is personal, kids are completely engaged. This is a real story from the teacher’s life! He draws pictures on the board to reinforce the story, throughout the narrative. This helps the students understand the new vocabulary that they don’t know. Seems completely effective.”
“Today Frank took his class on a far away expedition to Mars. His method of teaching I hope someday to develop as he was great as a storyteller inserting information as he took them on their journey through space. He is a great model teacher and I hope to someday be as good as him.”
